Responsible gambling
Stay in control
Arbitrage is built on math, not on luck, but it is still betting. Legs fail, odds move, accounts get restricted, and money can be lost. ArbLedger is for adults of legal betting age where they live: 18 or older, and 21 or older in most US states.
Signs it is becoming a problem
- You place bets that are not part of a calculated arbitrage, to "win back" a loss.
- You stake money you need for rent, bills or other essentials.
- You borrow money, or hide your betting from people close to you.
- Betting is affecting your sleep, work, relationships or mood.
Tools that help
- Deposit and loss limits. Licensed sportsbooks and exchanges let you set them in your account settings.
- Time-outs and self-exclusion. Most platforms let you pause or close your account. In the UK, GamStop excludes you from all UK-licensed sites at once.
- A fixed bankroll. Decide in advance how much money is for arbitrage, and never top it up from money you need.
