Best arbitrage betting software in the USA (2026)
US arbitrage runs on a different set of books than the rest of the world: DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM and other state-licensed sportsbooks. Here are the scanners built for them, what they cost, and how prediction markets became the US second leg.
ArbLedger may earn a commission from some links on this site, at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change what we recommend. Read our disclosure.
What makes US arbitrage different
- State-by-state books. Which sportsbooks you can use depends on the state you are in when you bet. A scanner is only useful if it covers your state's books and lets you filter for them.
- American odds. US books show +150 and −120 rather than decimal odds. Good US tools work in American odds natively; our arbitrage calculator handles both.
- Fast limits. US sportsbooks profile winning accounts aggressively. Round stakes and a wide spread of books matter even more here. See how to arbitrage bet without getting limited.
- No exchange, but prediction markets. With Sporttrade gone, Kalshi and Polymarket's US app are the US venues where you trade against other users rather than the house.

Kalshi: the US second leg
Outside the US, arbers place the second leg on a betting exchange, because exchanges don't limit winners. In the US, prediction markets now play that role. On Kalshi you buy contracts that pay $1 if an outcome happens, trading against other users, and Kalshi earns a fee instead of taking your bet.
- A typical US trade: back Team A at a sportsbook and buy "Team B wins" on Kalshi.
- Fees decide the trade. Kalshi's standard fee is 0.07 × contracts × price × (1 − price), half that on MLB. See Kalshi fees explained.
- Work out both legs with the Kalshi arbitrage calculator, and read the full Kalshi arbitrage guide.
- Polymarket's US app offers sports markets too and is rolling out state by state. Compare the two in Kalshi vs Polymarket.
How to start arbitrage in the US
- Open accounts at three to five sportsbooks that are licensed in your state, and fund them by bank transfer.
- Add a Kalshi account for the second leg, especially for game-winner markets.
- Pick a scanner that covers your state's books, and filter it to the books you hold.
- Start pre-match with margins of 2% and up, and round your stakes.
- Log every trade so you know your real results. See is arbitrage betting worth it for the numbers.

What is the best arbitrage betting software in the US?
For US state-licensed sportsbooks, OddsJam is the most widely used scanner, with the largest list of US books and live arbitrage. OddsShopper is a lower-cost alternative with 110+ books. Global scanners focus on international books, so check US coverage first.
Is arbitrage betting legal in the US?
Where sports betting is legal, arbitrage is simply a way of choosing which bets to place. Online sports betting is live in 31 states plus DC. Sportsbooks may limit accounts they identify as arbitrage bettors, which is a business decision under their terms.
Do US sportsbooks limit arbitrage bettors?
Yes, often quickly. Round stakes, many books and prediction markets that don't limit winners help you keep trading for longer.
Are there betting exchanges in the US?
Not in the traditional sense since Sporttrade left the state-regulated market in June 2026. Prediction markets such as Kalshi and Polymarket's US app now fill a similar role.
